With the approval of the State Council, the 130th Canton Fair will be held online and offline for the first time. One of the highlights or innovations of the 130th Canton Fair is to hold the first Pearl River International Trade Forum. The theme of this forum is "Providing new opportunities for the world with China's new development", based on the positioning of a high-level international forum, and strive to build a high-end dialogue platform that promotes the international political, business, and academic circles to discuss major and cutting-edge issues in international trade.
According to reports, the Pearl River International Trade Forum is composed of the main forum and three subforums. The opening ceremony on the afternoon of October 14 is not only the opening ceremony of the 130th Canton Fair but also the main forum of the Pearl River International Trade Forum. About 600 domestic and foreign guests will attend offline. At the same time, we are connected globally, inviting leaders of relevant countries and regions and heads of relevant international organizations to give video speeches, and more than 100 representatives of politicians and important business organizations from trading partner countries will attend online.
In addition, the three sub-forums will be held simultaneously on the afternoon of October 15th. Senior foreign government officials, well-known Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars will conduct strategic dialogues on the topics of the sub-forums and hot issues of international trade.

PS: Participants from outside of Guangdong Province need to hold a certificate of the negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours before entering Guangdong. After entering Guangdong, they must complete a nucleic acid test again on the same day. Participants in Guangdong Province will be subject to “two inspections in three days” during their stay in Guangdong. At the same time, all exhibitors must present a negative certificate of the nucleic acid test within 48 hours each time they enter the exhibition hall.
