Due to the Covid-19, people are grounded at home for months, it sucks that we can’t go to the pub for cup of little drink as usual. We have to keep social distance and we miss the old days when we could cheer it up for the night with friends in pub after work. All we wish now is that it will be gone soon and we embrace the normal life again.
So, if we can’t go to the bar now, why don’t we DIY a bar in home? This concept has been spreading its popularity for years from its origin birthplace, Japan. As we all know that Japan is a place for mini but exquisite creativity because of the their culture, bar in home theory is one of their magical ideas. Bar in home is getting to be a new hot topic recently if you are engaged in homeware business.
First of all, if we build up a bar in home, we need special furniture, such as a bar counter and the shelf. After that, here it comes the most important role to deliver all of your designs. Yes the glassware! There are many different glasses according to the liquor it serves, maybe you would say there’s no difference between a glass tumbler and a stem wine glass when you drink a cup of nice Chianti. Of course there’s difference, for example, a stem is designed to keep the wine from the warm or temperature of human body to maintain its original taste.
Building a bar in home, we need to storage the liquor and beverage according to personal preference before selecting a set of proper glassware. For beer, the most popular and basic liquor for most people in the world, we’d recommend Pilsner glass, stem glass, stein and large V-shape glass cup.
For wine, definitely all kinds of wine glass with stem, but we’d recommend crystal version glass.
For whiskey, we’d recommend 8-11 oz engraved glass set, better to have a glass ice bucket with it.
